Two-Way Analysis of Variance (Two-Way ANOVA)
In this module, we explore Two-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), a powerful statistical method used to examine the impact of two independent variables on a dependent variable, while also assessing the interaction effects between these variables. The session starts with an introduction to Two-Way ANOVA and explains how to partition the sum of squares, comparing it with One-Way ANOVA. We thoroughly discuss the assumptions necessary for valid Two-Way ANOVA results and present a sample ANOVA table to illustrate the analysis. Practical example problems are provided to demonstrate the application of Two-Way ANOVA, and we include a segment on solving these problems using Microsoft Excel. The module concludes with guidance on interpreting results and making decisions based on the analysis.
