How do you calculate a confidence interval for a mean?

Use the formula: CI=xˉ±z(sn)\text{CI} = \bar{x} \pm z \left( \frac{s}{\sqrt{n}} \right)CI=xˉ±z(n​s​), where xˉ\bar{x}xˉ is the sample mean, zzz is the z-score for the desired confidence level, sss is the sample standard deviation, and nnn is the sample size.
