Sa books, may isang optimal answer. Pero sa totoong buhay, nagbabago ang demand, may machine breakdowns, tas may unexpected events. Gaano ba katagal nananatiling "optimal" ang isang solution.
An optimal solution is strictly optimal only under the specific model assumptions and parameter values used at the moment of calculation, but it remains practical in a dynamic real world as long as system fluctuations stay within the allowable ranges determined by sensitivity analysis or until robust/stochastic updating is triggered.
