Basic feasible solution (BFS): A feasible solution obtained by setting some variables to zero and solving for the basic variables, while satisfying all constraints and non-negativity conditions.
Non-basic feasible solution: A feasible solution that does not have the required basic-variable structure; it may have more variables positive than a basic solution.
